South Korean CU retail chain began to accept Mir cards for payment

Offline payments at retail outlets are supported by the largest acquiring company BC Card. 18,000 POS-terminals are already prepared to work with Russian cards in CU stores.
“Despite there are not so many opportunities for traveling now, we, together with partners, continue our efforts to expand the geography of Mir acceptance in offline retail chains. And when it becomes possible to resume trips to South Korea, Russians will be able to appreciate the convenience of using their common cards in the wide payment infrastructure of BC Card,” said Dmitry Buvin, commercial director of the Mir payment system.
