Deepfakes in the criminals' arsenal. How will Russia respond?

Deepfakes are no longer exotic. They have become a common tool for criminals targeting Russian companies, government agencies, and ordinary citizens. The Bank of Russia reported a 2.5-fold increase in fraud involving deepfakes over the past year. According to Maxim Buzinov, head of the R&D laboratory at the Solar Group Cybersecurity Technology Center, artificial intelligence technologies, and in particular large language models (LLM), have significantly lowered the “entry barrier” for novice attackers.
