Biometrics in Russia: New ID technologies, architecture of trust, and bioacquiring

The unified biometric system in Russia is currently developing quite rapidly with new services added regularly. Bioacquiring, a platform that will link banking solutions and enable biometric transactions without regard to the bank, is being introduced. What are the prospects for this technology in the near and medium term? What are the constraints?
